The Data Protection Office (DP Office) is an independent department within PwC Belgium, of which the Data Protection Officer (DPO) reports to the Chairman.
On a daily basis, the DPO reports administratively to the COO and functionally to the partner in charge of Data Protection & Privacy.
Your impact
As a Data Protection Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Data Protection Officer (DPO) and the wider team. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting in informing and advising PwC and its employees about their obligations under various data protection legislations, such as the GDPR.
Keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in data protection and privacy regulations, and helping to align our compliance framework with these changes.
Updating and developing data protection policies and procedures.
Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including CISO, CDO, CIO, CRO, Head of Legal and Marketing, to ensure a cohesive approach to data protection.
Assisting in deploying compliance tools and conducting Data Protection Audits.
Monitoring adherence to data protection regulations.
Advising on mitigating risks in data processing activities.
Delivering training and awareness programs.
About you
We are looking for a Data Protection Analyst with the following profile:
A Master’s degree and at least three years of work experience.
You have a natural curiosity and a general interest in data protection & privacy and are looking to advance your skills and experience in these areas.
You have Relationship skills and are eager to collaborate.
The ability to understand complex processes and their relations.
You are good at following procedures, but you can also think outside the box and you enjoy helping others.
A quality-driven mindset; you’re also flexible, proactive, service-minded and open to change. You have attention to detail.
Good communication skills (presentation, negotiation, analyses, escalations).
Excellent verbal and written English, together with good knowledge of French and/or Dutch.
