Contractor Opportunity in Marketing & Sales Support – Northern Virginia

Position Overview
The contractor will participate as an entry-level team member at Information Services Group, a publicly traded data, information & advisory services company (Nasdaq: III). The contractor will be managed and mentored by the Global Sales Leader who will provide technical as well as professional guidance. This position will provide the opportunity to be exposed to marketing and sales and work with senior leadership in a highly professional corporate environment. The duration of this project will run for approximately 8 weeks beginning early June
Responsibilities
With oversight from the Sales team, the contractor can expect a wide range of responsibilities. Some of these opportunities may include (but not limited to):
- Develop, refine, and publish internal and external sales and marketing materials
- Support sales campaigns through data preparation, and message development
- Build and organize sales content repositories
- Support business development executives and Account Executives in general sales activities
- Help to innovate sales processes through use of tools and alternative sales approaches
Required Skillsets
- Must be in the Northern Virginia area, preferably near Ashburn, Prince William, and Fairfax County
- Excellent working knowledge of MS-Office suite of software applications, including Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook with a desire to learn and do more.
- Working knowledge of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Canva
- Demonstrates ability to work in small teams and with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds as well as working independently
- Demonstrates an eagerness to learn and take direction with a very positive attitude
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills including listening, written, oral, and presentation skills
- Follows instructions from senior staff and can work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines
- Effectively prioritizes and manages multiple tasks
Education
- Must be currently enrolled in a degree granting four-year program
- Junior or Senior college student with a concentration in Business, Marketing, or Communications
- 3.0 GPA or higher preferred
