ABOUT THE TEAM

If you are a techie, you belong in our Technology Team that builds scalable, high-performance platforms for our customers using up-to-date and efficient technologies.

Your Main Responsibilities

Design, configure, and manage DNS platforms to ensure scalability, high availability, and optimal performance.
Collaborate with internal teams to implement a globally distributed DNS infrastructure that meets both business and technical requirements.
Manage DNS traffic routing, load balancing, and failover strategies for ensuring uninterrupted DNS service.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to DNS performance, latency, and reliability, with a focus on DNS traffic management and security.
Implement and manage DNS platforms using tools like dnsdist and PowerDNS, while being open to integrating other DNS technologies such as BIND, Unbound, or Knot DNS.
Continuously monitor DNS performance and develop strategies for improvement using tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and specialized DNS monitoring solutions.
Ensure the robustness of the platform by integrating fault-tolerant mechanisms and high-availability architectures.
Automate DNS deployment and management processes using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Chef.
Stay current with emerging DNS technologies and trends to recommend and implement improvements to the platform.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for DNS architecture, troubleshooting procedures, and operational workflows.

Qualities We Are Looking For

Strong experience with DNS platforms and related technologies, particularly dnsdist and PowerDNS, with familiarity in alternatives like BIND, Unbound, or Knot DNS.
Expertise in scripting languages such as Lua, Python, Bash, or Go, particularly for DNS management and automation.
Hands-on experience with networking protocols (DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL) and tools for network troubleshooting (ping, dig, traceroute, netstat).
Proficiency in version control (Git, GitLab) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Chef.
A strong understanding of DNS security, caching strategies, and optimization techniques.
Familiarity with DNS over HTTPS (DoH), DNS over TLS (DoT), and DNSSEC implementations.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on system reliability and performance.
Passion for documentation and API management with experience working with both internal and third-party APIs.

We offer the opportunity for a two-month full remote work program, allowing you to work from abroad, during the summer period (July to August).
