Steer Studios is seeking a Junior Quality Assurance professional with experience and expertise in testing mobile apps or games. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our production and development teams to plan, organize, and execute various testing methodologies. Your contributions will be essential in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough testing of mobile games on various devices and platforms.
•  Identify, document, and report bugs, glitches, and other issues using the appropriate tracking tools.
• Execute test cases and create test plans for different stages of game development.
•  Work closely with the development team to ensure issues are resolved and verify fixes.
•  Ensure the game meets the highest quality standards before release.
•  Provide feedback on game design, functionality, and overall user experience.
•  Collaborate with team members to develop and implement quality improvement processes.
•  Maintain detailed records of testing procedures, results, and any changes or updates made to the game.
•  Prepare reports on game performance and suggest areas for improvement.
•  Test games on a wide range of mobile devices, including different screen sizes, OS versions, and hardware configurations.
•  Ensure compatibility and performance are consistent across all devices.
•  Evaluate the overall user experience, including gameplay mechanics, controls, and in-game tutorials.
•  Provide insights on how to enhance the player's experience.

Qualifications and Key Skills:

•  2+ years of experience in testing mobile apps or games.
•  Familiarity with mobile gaming platforms (iOS, Android) and knowledge of mobile game mechanics.
•  Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
•  Good communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting bugs and collaborating with the team.
•  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
•  Basic understanding of programming languages or game development tools is a plus.
•  Passion for gaming and a good understanding of different game genres.
•  Familiarity with bug tracking software (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) is advantageous.
•  Team player with a positive attitude.
•  Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
•  Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and processes.
