This role will support Disney Cruise Line and the global expansion of the company's fleet. You will be critical in delivering accurate, insightful analysis to drive organizational decision-making through data management and innovation. You must be comfortable working with diverse partner teams in a fast-paced environment, conducting planned and ad hoc analyses, preparing reports, and communicating insights to various audiences.
Must have:
  • 5+ years of analytical experience
  • 3+ years of digital analytics tool use
  • Experience defining website analytics tracking requirements
  • Independent time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to derive actionable insights from data and effectively guide decision-making
  • Strong understanding of segmentation as it relates to web analytics core principles
  • Ability to excel as a team player in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Expert knowledge of common digital analytics KPIs
  • Proactive problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to own projects from discovery through completion
  • Ability to function in an environment of ambiguity
  • Knowledge of fundamental relational database concepts
  • Knowledge of AB Testing concepts
  • Knowledge of statistical concepts
  • Embodies integrity with responsibility
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
Good to have:
  • Master’s degree in mathematics, data science, or business analytics
  • Proficient in Adobe Analytics tools (Workspace, Report Builder, Data Warehouse, etc.)
  • Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics Certified
  • Experience with tracking apps in Adobe Analytics
  • Experience with statistical analysis methods
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Experience working within agile project management frameworks
  • Experience in the travel industry, preferably in eCommerce
  • Experience in market research and consumer behavior analysis
  • Experience working with outside vendors
  • Experience managing online and offline data sets

Consumer Insights, Measurement, & Analytics (CIMA), part of the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Global Marketing & Sales organization, informs strategy development and decision-making through holistic data integration, objective data analytics, and actionable recommendations. Within CIMA, the Digital & Travel Operations Analytics (DTOA) team is focused on leveraging best practices in data analytics to capture data, perform analysis, and optimize our websites and call centers to drive Guest satisfaction and business outcomes.

We seek an enthusiastic and talented Manager, Business & Digital Analytics to support Disney Cruise Line and the global expansion of the company’s fleet. The ideal candidate will be passionate about analytics, digital technology, and telling stories with data. In this position, you will be critical in delivering accurate, insightful analysis to drive organizational decision-making through data management and innovation. You must be comfortable working with diverse partner teams in a fast-paced environment, conducting planned and ad hoc analyses, preparing reports, and communicating insights to various audiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and report on digital performance as part of a holistic business story, inclusive of observations, key insights, and recommendations
  • Understand business objectives and lead deep-dive analyses of product and feature launches for web and app analytics
  • Act as subject matter expert of Adobe Analytics implementation strategy and best practices
  • Support business units, digital product managers, and other partners through regular reporting as well as ad-hoc analysis
  • Deliver campaign analytics support to measure the impact of marketing tactics specific to digital product engagement and commerce-focused measures of success
  • Work with other analysts to advance their data-driven storytelling and presentation skills to refine each analysis to match the audience
  • Recommend optimization tactics based on analytical findings and drive action
  • Oversee development and maintenance of digital reports across Disney Cruise Line geographic regions for web and app data
  • Demonstrate attention to detail in quality assurance of data delivery
  • Finding areas of opportunity for efficiency and automation
  • Coordinate with implementation specialists and developers to deploy and maintain accurate analytics tracking
  • Leverage a combination of Adobe Analytics and database tools to explore and analyze data
  • Develop relationships with partner business teams and analytics teams to enable holistic storytelling
  • Create compelling presentations to highlight analysis and tell the story
  • Proactively drive innovation in the digital analytics space
  • Maintain documentation on current and historical internal and external factors that drive trends

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of analytical experience
  • 3+ years of digital analytics tool use, such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics
