Job Description

This role involves collaborating with design engineers to understand design specifications and identify critical verification scenarios for complex multimedia digital design blocks. Responsibilities include developing and refining constrained-random verification environments using SystemVerilog and UVM, defining and implementing comprehensive coverage metrics, and working with design engineers to debug tests and ensure functionality. The ideal candidate will have experience in ASIC performance verification, SystemVerilog Assertions (SVA), and assertion-based verification, along with knowledge of image processing or multimedia IPs. The position requires a strong understanding of ASIC standard interfaces and memory system architecture, and contributes to the innovation behind Google's consumer products.

Must have:

Bachelor's degree in relevant field
UVM framework experience
SystemVerilog for ASIC RTL verification
Object-oriented programming
Develop and refine verification environments

Good to have:

ASIC performance verification experience
SVA and assertion-based verification
Experience with image processing or multimedia IPs
Knowledge of ASIC standard interfaces and memory system architecture

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in developing and utilizing verification components and environments within the UVM framework.
Experience in SystemVerilog for ASIC RTL verification.
Experience in object-oriented programming.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience in ASIC performance verification, including ASIC components.
Experience in verification techniques, including System Verilog Assertions (SVA) and assertion-based verification.
Experience with image processing or other multimedia IPs, such as display or video codec.
Knowledge of ASIC standard interfaces and memory system architecture.
