Summary

Google's Platforms Team seeks a Product Design Engineer to design and evaluate data center systems, identifying product requirements and contributing to research and project planning. Responsibilities include applying design and engineering expertise to deliver reliable mass production components, solving time-sensitive problems, anticipating and addressing product design issues, analyzing data, validating designs, and suggesting improvements. The role also involves managing product design, guiding team members, communicating progress, and proactively removing roadblocks. This position is ideal for 2024 and 2025 graduates with a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related field and experience with CAD tools (3D MCAD, NX, Creo, or Solidworks). The engineer will design and optimize architecture for scalability to meet Google's growth.

Minimum qualifications:
