About the job:
As a Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines. **Responsibilities** Develop short and long term supply and demand models that seek to minimize total costs and inventories while maintaining/improving service levels. Deliver timely decisions, and ensure clear and concise communication to all stakeholders in the supply chain. Establish and utilize best methods in evaluating supply chain’s ability to meet customer demand. Lead demand and supply planning meetings with cross functional teams, reviewing supply, demand risks/mitigation options/service level goals. Collaborate cross-functionally and deliver resolution of supply chain exceptions/escalations in a timely manner. Implement new capabilities and improve existing ones across the organization.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 years of experience in managing projects
  • Experience with Supply Chain operations in demand planning, asset management, manufacturing, procurement, commodity management, or supplier management
  • Ability to collaborate and influence across multiple levels of an organization and customize communication based on the audience
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to be an influential member of an integrated team composed of both technical and non-technical members
Good to have:
  • Master's degree or MBA
  • Experience in data modeling, trend analysis, statistics, forecasting, or business insights
  • Experience leading cross-functional process improvements
  • Knowledge of the tools and elements of project management

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in managing projects.
  • Experience with Supply Chain operations in demand planning, asset management, manufacturing, procurement, commodity management, or supplier management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or MBA.
  • Experience in data modeling, trend analysis, statistics, forecasting, or business insights.
  • Experience leading cross-functional process improvements.
