Job Description:

As a Senior Analyst at Skillz, reporting to Arun Jose Philip, you will play a crucial role in transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive our strategic initiatives. You will collaborate closely with various teams to identify trends and inform decision-making. Your responsibilities will include analyzing large datasets, visualizing results, and clearly communicating your findings to stakeholders at all levels. Your Key responsibilities will be:

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, to ensure alignment on objectives and strategies.
• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends and patterns, providing insights that inform business decisions.
• Communicate risk areas and analytical findings clearly to upper management, along with actionable recommendations for risk mitigation.
• Drive initiatives that promote data-driven decision-making and enhance analytical capabilities across the organization.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of key milestones while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Foster a culture of accountability and proactive problem-solving within your team, encouraging individual growth and development.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of professional experience in data analysis, with a strong proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools like Tableau. Experience with Python is a plus.
• Familiarity with statistical testing and fundamental machine learning concepts is essential.
• Experience in the gaming industry is highly preferred; a passion for video games is a plus.
• Proven track record of success, as evidenced by tangible achievements and promotions within previous roles.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex analytical findings clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in analytics, marketing, business, economics, statistics, computer science, engineering, or mathematics preferred, but not required.
