Job Description

Scopely seeks a Senior Animator (2D) for its Bingo Bash team in Bangalore. Responsibilities include collaborating on animations across the product, ensuring strong understanding of animation principles for 2D characters and UI/VFX, technical expertise in Unity (2D), collaborating with designers and artists, and maintaining industry-standard practices. The ideal candidate possesses 10+ years of experience, proven problem-solving skills, excellent communication, Unity expertise, mobile game development experience, and a strong understanding of animation constraints in the video game industry. Mentorship or team leadership experience is a plus. Experience with a live game is beneficial.

Must have:

10+ years animation experience
Expert in 2D animation principles
Proficient in Unity (2D)
Mobile game development experience
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills

Scopely is looking for a Senior Animator (2D) to join our Bingo Bash team in Bangalore on a hybrid basis!

What You Will Do

Collaborate and visualize the animations across the product along with the Art Director
Strong understanding of animation principals for both characters (2D) and UI/VFX
Strong technical knowledge of animating in Unity Platform (2D)
Drive the animations and collaborate with designers, concept artist and technical artists to deliver global industry-standard assets
Document and Maintain global industry-standard practices

What We’re Looking For

10+ years of overall experience
Proven problem-solving (Creative and Technical) and prototyping ability
Strong communication and ability to articulate aesthetic choices
Expert in animation principles
Experience in Unity Platform and Mobile game development process
Strong understanding of animations and its constraint in video game industry
Mentored and/or lead teams in developing animations for a product
Experience in a live game is a plus
