Job Description
As a Senior Cyber Security Consultant at Mandiant, you'll lead multiple projects with tight deadlines, leveraging strong consulting skills. Experience in security event monitoring, cyber threat intelligence, incident response, training, risk management, cloud security, and tabletop exercises is crucial. You'll work directly with clients, utilizing Mandiant's services and security approach to solve their cyber challenges. Responsibilities include providing expert advice on managing cybersecurity risks during digital transformation, leading consulting engagements, guiding cybersecurity program building and transformation, conducting security reviews and assessments, and presenting risk findings and recommendations.
Must have:
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
- 6+ years cyber security experience with risk assessment
- Enterprise-level solution implementation expertise
- Lead multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Good to have:
- Master's degree in related field
- Cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, CISM, CRISC)
- Experience leading cyber security assessments (TTX, threat modeling)
- Knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27000, NIST CSF)
- Experience presenting to technical and executive audiences

Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience in cyber security with a risk assessment.
- Experience in implementing enterprise level solutions using industry-leading practices.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC).
- Experience in leading cyber security assessments, including Table-Top Exercises (TTX), threat modeling, controls assessment and validation, with Cyber Defense/Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI).
- Knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27000, NIST CSF).
- Ability to present security concepts to audiences (e.g., technical and executive).
- Excellent communication, project management and problem-solving skills.

In this role, you will possess strong consulting skills and lead multiple projects under tight deadlines. You will also have experience in several of the following activities: security event monitoring, cyber threat intelligence, computer incident response, cyber skills training, cyber risk management, cloud security facilitating tabletop exercises or involvement in large range exercises including scenario development. - Provide expert advice on best practices for managing the cybersecurity risks during digital transformation as organisations adopt cloud, developer operations, and new architecture frameworks such as containerization, micro-services and zero trust.
- Lead execution of consulting engagements and development of deliverables from start to finish, leading teams in analysing requirements and working with other team members to produce prioritised results aligned to client needs and risk profile.
- Provide guidance on building or transforming cybersecurity programs and the implementation of technologies used for enterprise security.
- Provide guidance on building or transforming cyber defense programs and capabilities including incident and crisis management, threat hunting, threat intelligence and detection engineering.
- Conduct security reviews and maturity assessments across technology and business teams to address cyber risk and provide clear, and organised risk findings and recommendations to clients.
