Intro

Are you a financial leader ready to step up and help shape the future of a fast-growing gaming platform? As a Senior Finance Manager at FRVR, you’ll be pivotal in steering our financial strategy and operations, ensuring financial health, and providing key insights to drive strategic decision-making. You’ll manage everything from budgeting and forecasting to ensuring compliance and financial reporting. This role allows you to grow into a Head of Finance position (or start in that role, depending on experience and fit), leading the economic vision for the company as we scale. You will be reporting to the Head of Legal.

You’ll take on the exciting challenge of optimizing financial performance, streamlining processes, and partnering with cross-functional teams to drive business growth. Challenges & Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of long-term financial strategies and obligations, ensuring alignment with company goals and growth plans.
  • Automate & integrate financial processes and removing manual tasks while leveraging AI
  • Own cash flow management, including forecasting, monitoring, and making recommendations for adjustments to ensure financial stability.
  • Oversee essential accounting functions (payroll, accounts payable/receivable, etc.) and ensure smooth department operations.
  • Deliver high-quality financial reports that drive informed decision-making at all levels of the company
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to assess the financial impact of new projects, policies, and business initiatives.
  • Engage with external stakeholders, including investors and shareholders, on financial matters.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls, driving efficiency and accuracy in all financial processes.
  • Manage internal and external audits, preparing detailed reports and executing recommendations.
  • Spearhead the annual closure of accounts and preparation of the annual financial statements.
  • Monitor financial performance, benchmark against external metrics, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Advanced certifications are a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial management, with at least 3 years in a senior finance role.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and hands-on experience with financial/accounting software (BC , Quickbooks, Xero).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple subsidiaries across different geographies, with a deep understanding of international financial operations.
  • Exceptional English communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and persuasively to stakeholders.
  • Highly analytical, data-driven approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • A proactive leader who can mentor and develop more junior finance team members.
  • Strong sense of accountability, with a passion for driving financial success, operational excellence and automation.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment focusing on continuous improvement.
