As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to Google’s needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. In this role, you will be responsible for technical work in User Protections and contribute to the growth of our presence in Brazil, supporting a small team and working in collaboration with our leads and teams in the United States and Europe. Our teams are securing Google's GenAI platforms for first- and third-party products, and this is an opportunity to solve problems and have great impact using LLMs. You'll create and review designs, set strategic direction for the team and partners, and help advance the state-of-the-art of Content Safety at scale. As the technical lead, you'll be responsible for your team's technical direction, execution, and impact. You will provide high level and detailed designs, cross-team coordination, and project guidance.
