You'll be working in the Taiwan Cluster, based in Pune. We are part of a diverse and global agile application delivery team, with specific focus on Taiwan Securities and Core Banking systems. This benefits our Wealth Management businesses in EMEA and APAC.
Responsibilities
We're looking for a keen and energetic Software Engineer to:
understand then banks application landscape
design, build and release enterprise scale applications that are up-to-date and latest in the market
provide innovative solutions that will solve business problems and strengthen our position as digital leaders in financial services
collaborate to refine user requirements though test-driven development (TDD)
Skills
Must have
Minimum 5 years' experience in software engineering or software architecture within a financial institution across various business domains
JAVA development experience, working on medium to large complex applications
Experienced in WealthSuite Front Office WSFO OMS Order Management System (previously known as Temenos TAP)
Experience with agile methodologies (scrum), and a solid understanding of SDLC
DevOps
automation mindset
Knowledge in either Wealth Management front office and/or Core Banking settlement processes
Knowledge in Securities functionality (Settlement, Asset transfer)
Experience in API definition/SOAP/JMS/MQ support or development
Experience in Unix and shell scripting
Experience using tools Gitlab, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, high level on quality standards
Good documentation skills; skilled in creating diagrams to lay down ideas and workflows
Nice to have
experience in Apache Tomcat, WebSphere is a plus
experience in Java J2EE for EJB Framework (EJB 3.x) is a plus
experience in DB2 (AS400/iSeries/IBM i) is a plus
