Job role:

We are searching for a talented and experienced SEO Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective SEO strategies to improve our products' search engine ranking and drive organic traffic. Over time, you will get the chance to build and lead a team of SEO specialists, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge to succeed.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to achieve top organic search rankings for targeted keywords
Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify high-volume, relevant keywords for different geographies
Analyze website traffic data and user behavior to identify areas for improvement
Optimize website content, page schema, structured data, meta descriptions, and title tags for search engines
Build a strong backlink profile through effective link-building strategies (excluding any black-hat techniques)
Stay up-to-date on the latest SEO trends and algorithm updates
Track and report on SEO performance metrics, including website traffic, rankings, and conversions
Collaborate with content creators, developers, and product teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated across all initiatives

Skills:

2+ years of experience in SEO management, preferably in a role where you started SEO best practises implementation from scratch
Experience with technical SEO audits and website optimization
Proven track record of success in improving website organic traffic and search engine rankings
Strong understanding of SEO best practices, including on-page and off-page optimization
Experience with keyword research tools and SEO analytics platforms
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

Will be a plus:

Strong understanding of Ad-tech ecosystem
Prior work experience in any of the following industries: gaming / astrology / news / pop-culture / cricket news or sports media
Experience with web development and coding languages (e.g., HTML, CSS)
