Job Summary:
The technical writer is responsible for creating technical documentation that communicates complex and technical information in a clear and concise manner. 
With a strong background in technical writing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to understand and interpret complex technical information, the technical writer will be responsible for creating a variety of documentation, including user manuals, technical specifications, process documentation, and training materials.

Responsibilities:

    • As part of the project delivery team, conduct continuous research to gather all necessary information for the documentation.
    • Work closely with subject matter experts (SME’s) to gather information and clarify technical details.
    • Compile, write and edit technical documents, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency in compliance with customer specifications and expectations.
    • Develop various types of documentation, such as user manuals, installation guides, technical specifications, process documentation, training material and operation and maintenance procedures.
    • Understand the needs and knowledge level of the target audience and tailor the content accordingly.
    • Review and edit existing documentation for accuracy, relevance, and consistency.
    • Format documents appropriately and ensure consistency in style, layout, branding, and compliance with customer requirements.
    • Maintain version control of documents and ensure they are up to date.
    • Ensure best practices are being established and continuously improved following lessons learned processes. 

Qualification and Skills:

    • Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Writing, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
    • Proven experience as a technical writer, preferably in a technology-driven industry.
    • Proficiency in using a range of documentation tools such as Microsoft office suite, Adobe etc.
    • Strong analytical and research skills.
    • Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.
    • Familiarity with markup languages such as XML or HTML is a plus.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Experience with version control systems and documentation management tools is desirable.
