Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with data structures/algorithms and software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., C++, Java).
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in analyzing and troubleshooting distributed systems, cloud computing, and databases.
- Ability to debug code and automate routine tasks, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) combines software and systems engineering to build and run large-scale, massively distributed, fault-tolerant systems. SRE ensures that Google's services—both our internally critical and our externally-visible systems—have reliability, uptime appropriate to users' needs and a fast rate of improvement. Additionally SRE’s will keep an ever-watchful eye on our systems capacity and performance.

Responsibilities
- Own availability and performance for key products. Be responsible for ensuring a great user experience for global users while supporting a high rate of change.
- Support production for Play Games related services, and design solutions.
- Design solutions to make the Play Games related services strong to failure.
- Support and manage the unique and evolving product features.
- Provide tools/training/consultation to development teams taking on new production responsibilities.
