What you’ll achieve

As a Junior DevSecOps Engineer, you will gain exposure to key areas of cloud security, including IAM management, secrets management, and vulnerability scanning. You will support senior engineers in integrating security tooling into CI/CD pipelines, hardening containerized environments, and assisting with cloud misconfiguration remediation, building foundational skills for a career in DevSecOps.

Role and Responsibilities

• Support remediation efforts for cloud misconfigurations identified by CSPM tools.

• Help with IAM account audits and documenting privilege recommendations.

• Contribute to secure key management implementation efforts.

• Participate in integrating security tools into CI/CD pipelines.

• Shadow senior team members on threat modeling and container security tasks.

Technical Must-Know Concepts

• Basics of AWS/Azure IAM, KMS, and Secrets Manager.

• CI/CD pipeline fundamentals (Jenkins, GitLab).

• Awareness of container and Kubernetes security basics.

• Basic familiarity with SAST/DAST tools.
