Job Description

As a Strategy Consultant at Demandbase, you will partner with key stakeholders in Marketing, Sales, and Operations to drive revenue through the adoption and expansion of the Demandbase platform. This role involves recommending best-in-class ABM strategies, creating value roadmaps, and leading workshops to ensure full value realization for customers. You will translate strategic objectives into tactical initiatives, research customer organizations, and become an expert on Demandbase workflows. This also includes collaborating with Sales and CS teams to identify growth opportunities and develop best practices. You will need to present recommendations to all levels of the account. This is a fast-paced role that offers a chance to work with multiple clients.
Must have:
  • 7+ years of B2B Marketing, agency, or marketing operations experience.
  • Experience integrating Sales and Marketing technology (CRM, MAP, SFA).
  • Exceptional presentation and leadership skills with business analysis aptitude.
Good to have:
  • Experience in sales/marketing/corporate strategy consulting.

About the Role:

As a Strategy Consultant on the Demandbase Services team, you will be a trusted partner and advisor to our key stakeholders in Marketing, Sales and Operations organizations.  This role will utilize your analytical, interpersonal communication, business management and leadership skills to drive revenue through adoption and expansion of our platform through recommending best in class ABM strategies and workflows.  Always with the Customer in mind, you will partner with our Implementation and Data Analytics teams to create a Value Roadmap tailored to their unique journey and lead workshops to ensure their full value realization of their Demandbase purchase.  The ideal candidate should have extensive experience delivering go-to-market strategies that drive adoption with measurable impact for B2B buyers.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Collaborate closely with all tiers of customers to understand their business goals, GTM maturity, key workflows, integrations to develop and recommend a Value Roadmap that aligns their strategic objectives with the Demandbase platform.
  • Work with the Customer’s executive leadership on Go-to-Market strategic design for end-to-end process flows that enable Marketing and/or Sales to execute confidently against their go-to-market objectives.
  • Translate Strategic Objectives into Tactical initiatives to identify the most efficient solution and path to solving complex GTM needs.
  • Research the Customer organization and industry, conduct GTM Maturity Assessments, lead Strategic Workshops and present recommendations to all levels of the account.
  • Become an expert on the Demandbase workflows and functional on the technical best practices of the platform to speak confidently and make recommendations on use cases.  
  • Collaborate across the Sales and CS teams to find growth levers and optimization opportunities as appropriate.
  • Develop best practices and thought leadership content for internal scaling and education across teams.


What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum of 7 years experience in a B2B Marketing, agency or marketing operations role or consulting experience integrating Sales and Marketing technology including:
    • CRM (Customer Relationship Management)
    • SFDC, Microsoft Dynamics, or other B2B CRM applications
    • Experience in the area of Salesforce automation (SFA), Lead Management and Marketing
    • MAP (Marketing Automation Platform)
    • Strategic CSM (Customer Success Management)
  • Exceptional presentation and leadership skills with aptitude for business analysis with experience presenting to the C-Suite. 
  • Ability to work cross functionally internally and within the customer organization, building relationships across all levels for effective stakeholder management.  
  • Experience in sales/marketing/corporate strategy consulting is beneficial
  • Thrives in  a fast paced, dynamic environment and working with multiple clients in a consulting atmosphere.
