Job Description

Trackman is seeking two system operators for an elite baseball tournament from March 25th-28th at Mater Dei High School (Santa Ana, CA) and J Serra High School (San Juan Capistrano, CA). Operators will receive full training. Responsibilities include arriving one hour before games, inputting lineups, tagging games using Trackman software (similar to traditional scoring), noting errors, and uploading game data daily. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in baseball analytics, enhancing resumes for future opportunities with MLB teams or universities. General baseball knowledge and scoring experience are preferred.

Must have:

General baseball knowledge
Scoring game experience
Trackman software proficiency (training provided)
Data uploading capabilities

Job description

We are in need of two system operators for an elite level baseball tournament from March 25th to March 28th at the following locations:

Mater Dei High School – Santa Ana, CA
J Serra High School – San Juan Capistrano, CA

The Trackman system operator will receive full onboarding and training prior to the event. This is a GREAT way to get a foot in the door of the baseball industry and add an extremely valuable skill to your resume. Having Trackman experience automatically takes your resume up a notch in the eyes of MLB teams and Universities, as a majority of them use Trackman. If you love baseball, want to work in the baseball industry, or just want to make a few extra bucks by watching baseball all day, then this job is for you!

Responsibilities

Arrive 1 hour prior to each game.
Input line-ups prior to the start of each game
"Tag" the game using Trackman software (Easy and straightforward to learn, very similar to scoring a game)
Make notes of any errors
Upload game data at the end of each day by simply connecting the laptop to Wi-Fi

Job requirements

Qualifications

General knowledge of baseball and how to score a game (denoting strike, ball, in play, error, etc.) is preferred.
