Job Description

As a Vendor Manager in Epic Games' Trust, Safety, and Support department, you'll ensure compliant and safe player experiences by managing vendor relationships. Daily operations will be your charge, ensuring alignment with Epic's policies. You'll be the primary contact, fostering collaboration and innovation. Responsibilities include identifying process improvements, managing large-scale projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams (Product, Policy, Procurement, Finance, Legal, Engineering). You'll influence vendors to align with Epic's brand, hold them accountable for performance, and develop models to improve KPIs. Experience in managing globally managed service providers, content management, and data analysis is crucial.

The Epic Trust and Safety team provides a safer experience for Epic users. We work across multiple products and services to improve technology and craft transparent policies so our players and users can have positive experiences on our platforms.

What You'll Do

As a Vendor Manager in Epic Games Trust, Safety and Support department you will be at the forefront of ensuring fully compliant and safe player and creator experiences by managing and fostering highly efficient relationships with our vendor partners. You will take charge of daily operations, ensuring alignment with Epics policies and standards for excellence. You will be the primary point of contact, responsible for nurturing a collaborative environment that fosters innovation, efficiency and quality. You will identify processes, management, tools, and data improvements and partner with internal and external teams to eliminate gaps and improve performance. You will assume full responsibility for the lifecycle of medium to large-scale high-priority projects and long-term strategic objectives that set new standards for the vendor management organizations.

In this role, you will

  • Influence vendor partners to build campaigns that align with Epic’s unique brand and values
  • Hold partners accountable to high performance through regular meetings, calls, emails, and visits
  • Manage relationships and collaborative efforts with our vendor partners to provide the best value for Epic and our players
  • Develop models, processes, and procedures to improve KPIs and strategic outcomes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Product, Policy, Procurement, Finance, Legal, and Engineering teams, drive projects, and share insights to improve the overall quality and efficiency of vendor operations

What we're looking for

  • 4+ years of experience managing vendor operations and working with globally managed service providers
  • Evidence of ethical and effective leadership and management
  • Evidence of strong cross-functional collaboration, especially with remote global teams
  • Experience with large-scale operations, process improvement, performance management and quality management
  • Experience with content management and managing highly sensitive content
  • Experience with data analysis, Excel, and Google Sheets
