The Associate Creative Director - Art (ACD - Art) is responsible for leading the visual direction and execution of creative projects. Working closely with the Creative Director and other team members, the ACD - Art oversees the design and visual production process from concept through execution, ensuring alignment with the brand’s aesthetic and marketing goals. This role requires expertise in art direction, graphic design, and visual storytelling across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Visual and Design Leadership:

  • Develop and oversee the visual style and imagery for all creative projects, ensuring consistency and high-quality execution across all media (digital, print, video, etc.).
  • Collaborate with the Creative Director to conceptualize and execute compelling visual ideas for campaigns and branding initiatives.
  • Lead the art team (designers, illustrators, animators, etc.) to ensure the creative output meets or exceeds client expectations.
  • Provide clear guidance and direction to ensure a cohesive and compelling visual identity for all projects.

Creative Concept Development:

  • Collaborate with copywriters and other creative team members to develop visual concepts that align with the campaign’s message and strategy.
  • Drive the ideation process for creating original and innovative visual concepts for advertising, branding, and promotional materials.
  • Stay updated on design trends, new tools, and creative techniques to bring fresh perspectives to projects.

Team Management and Mentorship:

  • Manage and mentor junior designers and art directors, helping them grow in their roles and improve their design skills.
  • Conduct regular reviews and feedback sessions to ensure creative work is aligned with project goals and maintains high standards of quality.
  • Foster a collaborative and creative work environment within the art department.

Client Collaboration:

  • Participate in client meetings to understand their vision and provide professional insight into how visual elements can enhance their brand and campaign.
  • Present design concepts and art direction to clients, explaining the rationale behind visual decisions and addressing feedback constructively.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor on all visual and creative matters.

Production and Execution:

  • Oversee the production of visual assets, ensuring that all designs are executed flawlessly and meet the required technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with photographers, videographers, production teams, and other external vendors to bring concepts to life.
  • Ensure that all deliverables are completed on time, on budget, and with the highest level of visual quality.

Brand and Visual Consistency:

  • Ensure that all visual elements adhere to the brand guidelines and maintain visual consistency across all platforms and mediums.
  • Act as a brand guardian, ensuring that the visual identity reflects the brand’s values, tone, and positioning.

Strategic Insight:

  • Contribute to strategic discussions, offering insights on how visual elements can align with broader marketing objectives and business goals.
  • Help develop long-term visual strategies for clients, ensuring their brand remains relevant and engaging over time.
