The Commercial Business Analyst will report to the VP of Global Strategic Growth, identifying and optimizing opportunities in existing and new markets. Responsibilities include formulating new market entries, analyzing commercial implications of proposals, reviewing opportunities through RFPs, market access, licensing, and M&A. The role requires collaboration across teams (Insights, Finance, Commercial Unit Leadership, Technology, Product, and Programme) to drive commercial strategy, utilizing key metrics (conversion, retention, LTV, costs) to identify areas for improvement and report to senior management.

Well, what about the role?

As a Commercial Business Analyst you will report directly to VP of Global Strategic Growth to help formulate new opportunities in both new and existing markets to strive to optimise our customer experience through our portfolio of assets & partnerships. Ensure all documentation, business cases and assessments completed for business review and drive decision making.

The role requires cross-functional collaboration to support the execution of Interactive Division’s strategy including new market launches, initiatives, and optimisation opportunities. You will closely with a variety of teams including Insights, Finance, Commercial Unit Leadership Teams, Technology and Product as well as Programme to help drive the commercial strategy for the Group

So, what will you be doing?

  • Working collaboratively with the Insights & Financial teams (FPNA, Financial Controller, Treasury) to draw out the commercial implications of proposals/analysis and provide concise summaries to senior management.
  • Reviewing opportunities through RFP’s, market access, licensing, mergers & acquisitions
  • Developing an understanding of all key commercial metrics (conversion rate, retention, upsell, lifetime value, costs…) and be proactive in identifying areas of concern and underperformance compared to business case, or budget.
  • Collaborating with colleagues from different teams to keep projects moving and inform decision making.
  • Prioritising tasks and manage expectations across stakeholders.
  • Using your expertise to extract, manipulate and analyse all key commercial data to become self-sufficient in your analysis.
  • Communicating effectively at all levels from Board level to junior colleagues.

  • Strong relationship building and networking skills
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills as well as strong attention to detail
  • Experience of working commercially in Gambling industry is desirable (operator or vendor)
  • Previous track record of directly contributing to the growth or value of a business (via existing and identifying new opportunities)
