Job Description

As a Field Sales Representative for Apigee, Google Cloud, you'll expand the business by engaging with existing and new customers, focusing on industry solutions. You'll establish C-level relationships, create go-to-market strategies using Apigee and GCP technologies to drive customer transformation. Responsibilities include collaborating with internal Google teams, defining success metrics, managing customer relationships, predicting relationship evolution, and developing solutions leveraging existing IT infrastructure. You'll also manage sales pipelines, create innovative GCP solutions, and optimize customer potential. The role requires building and fostering relationships with executives, understanding customer needs, and shaping how businesses use technology to connect with customers, employees, and partners.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years in direct sales leadership or business development
  • Experience in BFSI vertical
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Understanding of sales processes and product value

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in direct sales leadership, business development, or channel sales.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with achieving goals and delivering outcomes across verticals including Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI).
  • Experience in all aspects of the sales process.
  • Ability to understand products and identify how it can provide value to a prospective customer.
  • Ability to operate within a company, and adapt to change.
  • Excellent relationship building skills that extend to internal team members.

As a Field Sales Representative, you will grow the business with a diverse base of existing and new customers. You will lead the portfolio of products focusing on industry solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and develop C-level relationships, and develop a go-to-market strategy to optimize Google technologies and products to help our customers transform their business through Apigee and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technologies.
  • Work with the rest of Google Cloud and other Google teams in delivering term value through these customer partnerships. Define, review, and agree to a set of priorities, joint initiatives, and roadmap with our customers.
  • Define measures of success with each customer and use data to analyze success. Predict and manage evolution of our customer relationships and build and foster relationships with executives.
  • Work with customers in developing solutions that leverage their IT footprint to drive desired customer outcomes.
  • Manage pipeline and other opportunities through innovative solutions that leverage the GCP stack and optimize potential from these customers.
