AST Commercial Consultant
Responsibilities:
The Senior Insight Consultant plays a key role in leading the full delivery of research projects – from questionnaire development to the creation of business decision-supporting presentations.
Client relationship management with new and existing clients: Maintains proactive sales and continuous communication with clients, ensuring high-quality service and satisfaction. Actively involved in proposal writing and client management. Proactively seeking for new clients and service opportunities. Understanding business questions and designing research methodology: Designing research with a focus on the client’s business challenges to ensure insights provide valuable and relevant answers. Independent management and active execution of research processes: Not only oversees the full implementation of research projects but also actively participates in all phases, including questionnaire design, processing, statistical analysis, and presentation development – even without additional support if needed. Delivering actionable insights: Produces analysis that directly supports decision-making and contributes to achieving business goals. Managing parallel projects: Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously, effectively prioritizing and meeting deadlines.
What skills and qualifications are required?
Degree in Sociology / Statistics / Economics Strong knowledge of research methodologies and statistics At least 5 years of experience in quantitative research with hands-on analytical practice Holistic mindset: ability to understand the full scope of business problems and lead end-to-end research implementation Independent analytical work: able to complete full analyses independently, even without data processing assistance High-quality output: committed to producing visually attractive and professionally polished deliverables, including research presentations and reports Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking Precision, structured thinking, and adaptability Intellectual curiosity and a strong desire to explore and understand deeply Upper-intermediate English language skills (both written and spoken) Confident and advanced user of SPSS (essential) Proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel (VBA knowledge is a plus), and Word Advantageous: Familiarity with the FMCG sector, and experience with Power BI and AI tools in market research
