The Havas Edge Summer Internship Program offers a paid internship for students or recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in a performance marketing agency. The Business Analyst Intern will learn about business analytics, strategy, and digital media, understand how they contribute to decision-making, and assist in defining objectives and variables, constructing decision models, and interpreting results to meet clients’ goals. The program includes on-the-job training, access to technology, mentors, and exposure to various departments. The internship program is for 10 weeks and run from June 9th to August 15th (2025).
Must have:
  • Min 3.0 GPA
  • Preferred course of study in Marketing, Business, Analytics, Statistics, or other related disciplines
  • Ability to execute tasks in a deadline-oriented environment and work independently
  • Basic understanding of analytics, media, and strategy

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Havas Edge Summer Internship Program is a paid internship and an excellent way for students or recent graduates to dive in and experience what it’s like to work at a performance marketing agency. Our program is designed to give our interns the same hands-on training as our entry-level employees so that you can apply these skills to “real” work. As a result, interns will have a stimulating, challenging, rewarding, and exciting experience!

The Havas Edge Summer Internship Program will be 10 weeks long and run from June 9th to August 15th (2025). We are seeking interns that can work full-time (36 hours a week), in our Carlsbad, CA office.

INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Our Analytics team will be partaking in the program – a unique opportunity and chance to learn across Business Analytics, Strategy, and Digital Media as a Business Analyst Intern! It is an excellent way for students to understand the role business analytics, strategic planning, and digital media play in helping Havas Edge evolve beyond relying on conceptual content to drive decisions and actions.

Business Analytics:

  • Learn to define objectives and variables explicitly, and to specify the relationships among the variables via a response model to consider the effect of advertising on both response and sales and determine if increases (or decreases) in advertising are justified

  • Become an astute user of well-established models and a knowledgeable consumer of the modeling results generated by others via training sessions

  • Explore decision options (even those considered outliers), assess the relative impact of different marketing decision variables, and select the optimal approach.

  • Harness data and knowledge via research and information gathering

  • Design and construct decision models and then implement those models as necessary to support the decision-making process of business strategy leads

  • Focus your interpretation of results to facilitate the decision-making process to meet clients’ objectives & goals with the support of our Director of Business Analytics

TRAINING AND SUPPORT

As an intern, you will participate in on-the-job training with members of the department for which you are assigned, as well as receive exposure to other departments so that you may learn how each function within the agency supports and interacts with the others. You will have access to technology and tools to support you throughout your internship, as well.

Additionally, you will have assigned mentors who will assist you with any questions you may have and may assign you work as needed. You will work in a dynamic, engaging environment alongside experienced team members - some of whom were interns at Havas Edge themselves.
