Job Description

As a Cloud Program Manager at Google Cloud Professional Services, you will oversee all aspects of the Google Cloud sales process, improving it with insightful data analysis, troubleshooting, and seamless cross-functional teamwork. You'll lead project management of multi-functional projects, covering planning, delivery assurance, tracking, reporting, risk mitigation, and managing delivery quality. Responsibilities include managing risks and issues for accounts, tracking progress to meet timelines, building mitigation plans, managing projects and technical requirements, organizing them into clear goals, and advocating for programs. You will also engage in community contributions to improve culture and operations. The role requires experience in program management, client service, or management consulting, along with digital transformation using cloud-based solutions and managing initiatives across various teams. A strong understanding of cloud marketplaces and various cloud offerings is also crucial.

Must have:

6+ years experience with digital transformation using cloud solutions
Program management experience
Client service or management consulting experience
Cross-functional team management
Lead multi-functional Google Cloud projects
Manage risks, issues, and actions for accounts

Good to have:

MBA or Master's degree in Computer Science
Experience with geographically dispersed teams
Quantitative assessment and analysis for decision-making
Collaboration with channel partners and third-party developers
Understanding of cloud marketplace differentiators
Ability to work in ambiguous environments

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
6 years of experience with digital transformation using cloud-based solutions, managing initiatives across engineering, sales, support, professional services and distributed teams.
Experience in program management, client service, or management consulting.

Preferred qualifications:

MBA or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
Experience working with a cross-functional, geographically dispersed team and customer base.
Experience leveraging quantitative assessment and analysis for decision-making/prioritization and collaborating with channel partners, systems integrator, and third-party developers to deliver high-impact solutions.
Understanding of cloud marketplace and the differentiators of various cloud offerings.
Ability to work in ambiguous environments and define a path to resolution.
Ability to learn, understand, and work with technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud/IT technology space.

Responsibilities

Lead the project management of multi-functional Google Cloud Professional Services projects, covering program planning, delivery assurance and verification, tracking and reporting, and risk and mitigation planning.
Manage the risks, issues and actions for accounts and track them to meet expected outcomes and timelines, building mitigation plans as the program evolves.
Manage the delivery quality of the delivery teams and resources when needed.
Manage various projects and technical requirements and organize them into clear goals and objectives.
