The Manager, Programmatic Trade Desk Development, NA, will develop and grow InMobi's relationships with programmatic trading desks. This role involves building revenue growth through data-driven strategies, managing client relationships, identifying cross/up-selling opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include developing client retention plans, managing mid-to-senior level relationships, working with global InMobi teams, driving thought leadership, creating innovative offerings, providing SME support, conducting business reviews, and delivering revenue growth. The role is 80% externally focused on clients and 20% internally managing stakeholders.
Must have:
  • 8+ years in account/revenue management and data analysis (digital/programmatic/ad tech)
  • Ad tech ecosystem expertise (exchanges, DSPs, targeting, measurement)
  • Strong MS Excel, PowerBI skills and data analysis competency

Overview

Reporting to the Head of the Programmatic Trading Desk (PTD), this global role sits at the intersection of strategy, marketing, and programmatic advertising and is responsible for developing and growing InMobi’s relationship across programmatic trading decks in each respective region. This role will work collaboratively across disciplines to develop deeper programmatic enablement and growth in support of InMobi’s product and revenue goals.

You will be responsible for initiating, building & driving revenue growth by solving customer problems through data-driven strategies through key relationships across Programmatic, Trading, Operations, Analytics, Marketplaces, learning and development and more, that support account level engagements by sales teams. This role will work with cross-functional teams to drive market strategies, support overall agency product enablement and contribute to a world class team and culture.

This senior role is essential to the NA team and platform demand organization, driving critical customer insights and shaping strategic solutions that directly impact our programmatic success. As a trusted programmatic leader, you'll forge key client partnerships, leverage high-impact data insights, and independently lead initiatives to elevate our presence and performance across the region.

The role will be based in-market and onsite in our NYC office, reporting to the Global Head of PTD, and focused 80% externally with customers and 20% internally for cross-functional management of key stakeholders.


The impact you’ll make

As subject matter experts, this team is responsible for initiating, building and maintaining relationships with programmatic trading desks.

  • Developing client retention and growth plans and strategies for developing profitable business with assigned accounts.
  • Manage mid and mid-senior level programmatic, operations and activation relationships with programmatic trading desks and DSP client services teams across the region. Identifying and managing interactions with assigned group of existing customers to identify cross/up and repeat sales opportunities.
  • Work with global InMobi teams to underpin the relationship with the overall holding company and respective operating companies
  • Drive thought leadership and strategic thinking by partnering with key internal stakeholders e.g. regional agency teams (NA, APAC, EMEA), sales, marketing and operations to ensure consistency across global markets
  • Developing medium to long-range plans and preparing strategies to protect, grow, and diversify the relationship with a defined group of existing customers
  • Create innovative offerings and strategies for growing the programmatic side of the business across the region, staying relevant and in sync with market demand.
  • Provide subject matter expertise (SME) support to external trading teams by conducting L&D sessions
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with partners.
  • Deliver revenue growth for the portfolio of clients across all channels on InMobi Exchange.

The experience we need

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a role encompassing Account/ Revenue management and data analysis strictly from digital/ programmatic/ad tech background
  • High proficiency in the ad tech ecosystem of ad exchanges/networks, DSPs, 1st and 3rd party audience targeting and technology, online measurement, ad-operations, delivery and measurement platforms.
  • Strong MS Excel, PowerBi skills and proven competency in data analysis and logical reasoning.
  • Expertise in driving business growth by identifying new market opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding presence across key agency partners in the region.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, high level of experience and comfort with big data and a creative approach to problem solving, with the ability to distil key business insights from data.
  • Proven experience in driving cross functional projects.
  • Able to develop strategies and plans to help achieve revenue growth as well as customer satisfaction.
  • Prior client-facing experience while owning revenue management for a product/ business line/ account/ geography with strong senior industry network.
  • Ability to work across different global cultures and in a matrix style environment.

The base salary (fixed) pay range for this role would range from $111,264—$148,000 USD (min to max of base salary pay range). This salary range is in applicable for our offices located in California and New York*.  In addition, an InMobian may also receive variable pay in the form of annual variable bonus or quarterly variable bonus / sales incentive, as deemed per policy in addition to fixed compensation.

*Our ranges may vary basis final location / region / or fully remote roles in accordance to the geographical differentiation in pay scales in the country.

In addition to cash compensation, based on the position, an InMobian can receive equity in the form of Restricted Stock Units.
