The Complaints Lab Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and setting priorities for failure analysis activities on returned products related to reported complaints on Philips Oral Health Care products across multiple geographic locations. This role involves developing and maintaining advanced quality control processes to ensure products meet stringent standards and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include coordinating device failure analysis priorities, developing and implementing processes for complaint product return and analysis, executing receiving, disinfecting, and device failure analysis on returned products, and conducting root cause analysis and problem-solving. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience, along with proficiency in Excel and Data Analysis.

In this role you

This position is responsible for coordinating and setting priorities across multiple geographic locations the failure analysis activities on returned products related to reported complaints on Philips Oral Health Care products.  You are responsible for developing and maintaining advanced quality control processes to ensure products meet stringent standards and regulatory requirements throughout production.

Travel may be required.

Your role:


Coordinates and sets device failure analysis priorities across multiple geolocations.
Develops, implements, and maintains processes and procedures for complaint product return and
analysis.
Executes receiving, disinfecting and device failure analysis on returned products.
Conducts root cause analysis and problem-solving to address product and process issues, ensuring compliance and optimal performance and possesses basic understanding of Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA), applicable regulations, requirements, and standards.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or  4+ years of experience with equivalent/Vocational Education.
  • Experience with Excel and Data Analysis
  • Preferred Skills: Quality Specifications,  Quality Control Inspection,  Quality Management Systems (QMS),  Troubleshooting,   Regulatory Requirements,   Technical Documentation ,  Manufacturing Processes,   Quality Management Procedures and Methodologies,   CAPA Methodologies, Continuous Improvement.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Office/Remote position. 

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This is an office role, in-person 5 days per week.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position in Bothell, WA is $60,000 to $104,000, Annually. 

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.    

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.  Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.  Details about our benefits can be found here

At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position.  For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Bothell, WA.
