Contract Destiny Gameplay Specialist

Do you love playing Destiny and Destiny 2? Do you have a passion for talking games, gaming, and how to improve them? Do you spend time picking apart game systems in order to understand them better? We may have a job for you!

Bungie is looking for players who meet the rare criteria of being able to play the full breadth of Destiny 2’s content and give clear, objective feedback with an eye towards driving player engagement.

Game Play Specialists at Bungie should constantly be thinking about the user experience through the end game rituals and should leverage that to offer insights and feedback. This will require a strong desire and excitement to play through Destiny 2’s end game with a small team of skilled players to gain an in-depth feel for the underlying systems in play.

This is a full-time role with core hours required as part of accepting this role. You must be willing & able to maintain this schedule for the duration of the role. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in long-form, front-to-back, end-game Destiny 2 play
• Analyze and assess systems and processes through gameplay
• Track and communicate objective feedback and issues with an eye towards both ritual specific, and game-holistic, improvements

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Significant Destiny and Destiny 2 experience, including end-game ritual participation
• Excellent communicator both written and verbal
• Ability to work effectively individually as well as with a small team

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS

• Has a wide range of classes represented in Destiny 2 (and Destiny)
• Game Guide experience
• Experience in JIRA, Excel & Atlassian Confluence
