Summary

Bungie is seeking a Contract Destiny Gameplay Specialist to provide feedback on Destiny 2's end-game content. Responsibilities include participating in extensive gameplay sessions, analyzing systems, and providing objective feedback focused on improving player engagement and game systems. This contract role requires significant Destiny 2 experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a small team. The specialist will play through end-game rituals, documenting issues and suggesting improvements both for specific rituals and the game as a whole. The role is full-time with core hours required. The ideal candidate has a passion for Destiny and a deep understanding of its systems.

Bungie is looking for players who meet the rare criteria of being able to play the full breadth of Destiny 2’s content and give clear, objective feedback with an eye towards driving player engagement.

Game Play Specialists at Bungie should constantly be thinking about the user experience through the end game rituals and should leverage that to offer insights and feedback. This will require a strong desire and excitement to play through Destiny 2’s end game with a small team of skilled players to gain an in-depth feel for the underlying systems in play.

This is a full-time role with core hours required as part of accepting this role. You must be willing & able to maintain this schedule for the duration of the role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Participate in long-form, front-to-back, end-game Destiny 2 play
Analyze and assess systems and processes through gameplay
Track and communicate objective feedback and issues with an eye towards both ritual specific, and game-holistic, improvements

REQUIRED SKILLS

Significant Destiny and Destiny 2 experience, including end-game ritual participation
Excellent communicator both written and verbal
Ability to work effectively individually as well as with a small team

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS

Has a wide range of classes represented in Destiny 2 (and Destiny)
Game Guide experience
Experience in JIRA, Excel & Atlassian Confluence

Listed below is this role's base pay range within the greater Seattle area. In other locations approved for remote work by Bungie and our external resource vendors, this pay range may be adjusted to the local market and some roles may be classified as non-exempt (hourly),

This range is determined by an array of factors, including training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Additionally, it is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Bellevue Pay Range

$72,000 - $78,000 USD
