Job Description

The Corporate Solutions RFP Manager will implement organizational strategies, manage resources, and be accountable for business strategies and programs. This role involves managing a team, setting direction, and deploying resources on various projects, while providing guidance. The manager will also develop growth plans, execute go-to-market strategies, and handle all aspects of commercial management, including sales campaigns, customer negotiations, and issue resolution. The role also includes supervising daily activities, collaborating with other departments, ensuring team awareness of policies, maintaining a consistent code of conduct, ensuring accurate reporting, establishing goals for employees, and building relationships with key stakeholders.
Must have:
  • B.A. or B.S. degree in a Business, Management, Administration or similar area

Job Details

Implement organization strategies through the effective direction and management of resources, while being accountable for the business strategies, functional or operational areas, processes or programs.

Responsible and accountable for managing and developing a team of people, setting direction and deploying resources on varying projects, participating in organization-wide projects, while providing guidance and expertise on an as needed basis. Managers are required to understand how other business units operate, how their goals align with organizational goals and have budget and profit/loss responsibility.

Develops and drives growth plans in established and emerging markets. Executes consistent go-to-market strategies. Understands market landscapes and influences localized pricing scheme. Responsible for all aspects of commercial management including sales campaign, value proposition and messaging, results tracking and trending analysis, risk management and mitigation, customer negotiations, customer communications, and issue resolution.

What You Will Do

  • Supervises the daily activities of business or technical support or production team to ensure expectations are met / exceeded and that the team is operating in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Collaborates with other levels of management and other departments to create and maintain efficient work processes.
  • Participates in both internal and external projects as needed.
  • Ensures that the team is made aware of changes to the organization’s policies and procedures.
  • Maintains field within the team to ensure that every member of the group acts in a manner consistent with the organization’s code of conduct and cultural norms.
  • Ensures timely, accurate and complete reporting to appropriate parties regarding the team’s operations.
  • Ensuring that the team maintains the appropriate tools and equipment to perform the necessary work.
  • ·Establishes formal goals for each employee to achieve within established timeframes and conducts regular meetings with employees to review progress.
  • Motivates, develops, recruits and retains employees while rewarding and cultivating a culture of high performing teams.
  • Builds and maintains effective long-term relationships with key senior-level decision makers and influencers.
  • Works with the Commercial Management team to interprets data and assist in developing commercial strategies and solutions that will meet customer requirements as well as meet or exceed business goals.
  • Identifies and proposes market opportunities such as product launch and enhancements based on market research and competitive information.
  • Takes ownership of problem resolution, if customer issues cannot be solved through normal channels.

What We Expect

  • Education Required: B.A. or B.S. degree in a Business,  Management, Administration or a similar subject area
  • Experience Required:  At least 6 years
