They’re looking for a Creative Director, Copy to lead across a dynamic portfolio of clients, particularly in the B2B and tech space. This role is hybrid, based in San Diego, CA, with in-office collaboration expected one day per week. You’ll shape the creative direction, mentor a growing team, and contribute directly to campaigns that push creative boundaries and deliver strategic impact. What You’ll Do: Oversee concept development, brand storytelling, and campaign direction Mentor, inspire, and grow a high-performing creative team Translate business goals into bold, effective creative strategies Lead client presentations, new business pitches, and creative reviews Provide consistent creative guidance and feedback to internal teams Collaborate across design, strategy, and account management to ensure alignment What We’re Looking For: 7+ years in creative leadership at an agency, including 3+ years working with B2B clients 5+ years of team management experience Strong portfolio showcasing strategic copywriting and campaign work Excellent communication and presentation skills—able to clearly articulate ideas and creative rationale to clients and internal stakeholders A collaborative, roll-up-your-sleeves approach with a calm-under-pressure demeanor Knowledge of Figma is a plus Work Requirements: Must be located within one hour of San Diego, CA Hybrid schedule with 1+ day per week in-office Occasional travel may be required (domestic and international) Logistics: Location: Hybrid – San Diego, CA (in-office 1x/week) Salary: $165,000 – $170,000/year + Benefits outlined below Employment Type: Full-time Compensation & Benefits Disclosure: The compensation for this position will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and market conditions in the San Diego area.
