Job Description

This Credit Reporting Client Support Analyst role involves working directly with data furnishers to evaluate file failure errors, update furnisher information, and analyze/interpret dispute-related data to identify issues, concerns, and trends. The role also includes tracking relevant activities, performing outreach to data furnishers, supporting internal stakeholders with daily operations, and creating reports and dashboards. The analyst will advocate for industry standards and best practices, build relationships, and provide solutions while maintaining high standards of communication and service. The role also involves handling daily requests, assisting in data quality reviews, new furnisher onboarding, and credit data investigations. The ideal candidate will document and assess the root cause of issues and utilizing the information to ensure future issues are avoided. The candidate will also update internal reporting to keep stakeholders informed of industry trends.
Must have:
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 1+ years of customer-facing experience
  • Proven customer management skills and customer service orientation
  • Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills
  • Understanding of operations function, banking or retail credit industry
Good to have:
  • Experience with Salesforce and/or Metro 2® credit reporting
  • Experience with designing and implementing dashboards and reporting
  • Power BI and/or Tableau experience
  • Experience working in a heavily regulated environment

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 1+ years of professional experience in customer-facing or operations role in reporting management
  • Proven customer management skills with a strong customer service orientation (desire to help others)
  • Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills
  • A proven understanding of the operations function, with previous experience in banking, retail credit or consumer credit reporting industries considered an asset
  • The ability to multi-task and handle high volumes of small projects simultaneously
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to present data and information effectively with excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

We’d love to see:

  • Previous experience with – Salesforce and/or Metro 2® credit reporting, a high level of computer literacy, and excellent analytical skills
  • Experience with designing and implementing dashboards and reporting
  • Power BI and/or Tableau experience
  • Experience working in a heavily regulated environment with a demonstrated understanding of credit reporting laws and regulations

  • Expectations in the first 90 days – Gain an understanding of industry guidelines, our core systems and operational processes.
  • To achieve this, you will work directly with our data furnishers to evaluate file failure errors, update furnisher information, analyze/interpret dispute-related data to identify issues/concerns/trends, track relevant activities, and perform outreach to data furnishers
  • Support our internal stakeholders with a variety of daily operations and create reports and dashboards while keeping strict adherence to internal policies and procedures and supporting documentation
  • What you’ll accomplish beyond 90 days – Effectively advocate for industry standards and best practices across internal and external stakeholders, as well as, build relationships and provide solutions.
  • This will be done via handling of daily requests submitted by furnishers and internal stakeholders, along with assisting in our proactive data quality reviews, new furnisher onboarding and credit data investigations.
  • The ideal candidate is adept at documenting and assessing the root cause of issues and utilizing the information to ensure future issue are avoided while maintaining high standards of communication and service to all customers.
  • Update internal reporting to keep all stakeholders informed of industry trends and the status of various accounts and projects.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Pay Scale Information :

The U.S. base salary range for this position is $51,700.00 - $75,000.00 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual’s education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations.

Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion’s annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
