FundamentalVR is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic CSM Growth Lead to manage and develop key strategic relationships with existing customers. This role involves creating and operating a world-class customer success team in the US and UK, owning a significant annual growth target, building scalable strategies for the team, and driving deeper engagement within customer organizations. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable success in customer relationship management, sales, or management in a professional services software or communications agency environment, especially within the medical device or pharmaceutical market. Experience with simulation or technology, particularly in areas like medical affairs, training, sales, and marketing, is highly advantageous. The role requires experience in owning and exceeding financial account targets, developing successful relationships at various organizational levels, and understanding the key organizations and influencers within the target market. Strong professional relationship, management, and reporting skills are essential.
Must have:
  • Previous demonstrable success in customer relationship, sales or management in a professional services software or communications agency environment
  • Demonstrable success across the medical device or pharmaceutical market, ideally in simulation or technology
  • Demonstrable experience and understanding of how training or technology can be applied to increase Life Science adoption
  • Previous demonstrable experience of owning and exceeding financial account targets
  • Demonstrable experience of developing successful relations at a variety of levels within organisations
  • An understanding of the key organisations and influencers within our target market and accounts
  • Can demonstrate examples of creating and leading strategic initiatives with positive organisational and sales impact
  • Professional relationship, management and reporting skills.

About The Role

We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic professionals to lead the client success and growth development team working with, retaining and increasing the value of our customer relationships. This key role will be responsible for the management and development of key strategic relationships with our existing customers. You and the team you will lead, will be working with strategic Life Science organisations across multiple time zones and geographical locations across the Medical Device and Pharma market as well as leveraging relationships within the HCP market and relevant professional bodies.

What You Will Do 

  • Create and operate a world class customer success team (Client Success Managers CSMs) in both the US and UK. 
  • Own a significant annual growth target ($$MM) for existing business and customers. 
  • Build scalable strategies for the team to cross populate experience, build champions and drive our platform and service deeper into our customers organisations to increase the value of our customer engagements. 
  • Identify with the CSM team areas of focused growth effort within each account. 
  • Ensure each CSM has a focused account development plan with appropriate financial targets. 
  • Drive, measure and report on customer health as well as vertical and horizontal penetration within strategic accounts.  
  • Leverage the FVR medical board, professional relationships and KOLs to effectively drive growth and longevity in our customer engagements.
  • Based from our London office you will lead and develop a culture of close team working in the office.
  • Deliver accurate and timely reporting on all agreed KPIs using agreed systems in place. 

Requirements

Essential Skills You Will Be Able To Demonstrate 

  • Previous demonstrable success in customer relationship, sales or management in a professional services software or communications agency  environment 
  • Experience and demonstrable success across the medical device or pharmaceutical market, ideally in simulation or technology is highly advantageous for this role. 
  • Demonstrable experience and understanding of how training or technology can be applied to increase Life Science adoption in areas such as medical affairs and training, sales and marketing , internal effectiveness 
  • Previous demonstrable experience of owning and exceeding financial account targets.
