Alpha Affiliates, a leading iGaming partner program since 2012, is seeking a Data Engineer to help build an EDWH from scratch. This role involves integrating new data sources, developing data delivery pipelines using Airflow DAGs, and implementing best practices in data infrastructure. The company operates with licenses from the Malta Gaming Authority and Curacao, covering 10 brands and supporting over 15,000 partners across 38 countries. Must have:
- Excellent SQL knowledge (ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Snowflake)
- Query optimization and execution plan analysis
- Strong Python technical background (DAGs, frameworks)
- Experience with Airflow, Pandas, Kafka
- Experience retrieving data from APIs and FTP

Responsibilities
- Participation in building an EDWH in the company from scratch, with the opportunity to influence architecture and technology stack.
- Integration of new data sources into the EDWH.
- Development of a data delivery pipeline in the form of Airflow DAG processes.
- Implementation of best practices in data infrastructure.
Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of SQL (ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Snowflake), query optimization, and the ability to work with query execution plans and CRUD operations.
- Strong technical background in Python: writing DAGs, designing frameworks, reading and analyzing code, experience in profiling and optimizing performance/scalability.
- Proficiency in working with popular DE/DA frameworks: Airflow, Pandas, Kafka.
- Experience in retrieving data from APIs and FTP.
