The Nasdaq Analytics business is composed primarily of the Nasdaq eVestment and Nasdaq Solovis, as well the Nasdaq Fund Secondaries (NFS) business lines. Nasdaq eVestment and Nasdaq Solovis are SaaS platforms that provide Asset Managers and Allocators with best-in-class solutions for research, asset manager selection, data analytics, and portfolio management tools. NFS is a unique and innovative technology offering enabling a secondaries transaction marketplace in the private markets sector.
We are seeking a high energy and innovative professional to join the Analytics Finance. As a key senior member of the team, we expect you to perform a variety of finance/FP&A duties supporting the Analytics franchise. This position will collaborate and work closely with senior business stakeholders and act as their Finance Business Partner, as well as supporting the Analytics Finance lead and BUCFO of this organization/division. In addition, the candidate in this role will interact with the full gamut of other partners across the Nasdaq organization, including senior divisional Finance leadership, Corporate Finance, Technology and other corporate support functions.
Key Responsibilities
Manage revenue and expense financial activities including the monthly close and forecasting processes, long range planning, and annual budgeting.
Analyze variances, trends, risks and opportunities, performance against budget/forecast/targets, key business drivers and sensitivities. Highlight operational performance issues and recommend actions.
Prepare monthly financial reporting for the Analytics business.
Work closely with Analytics leadership to support revenue growth, expense discipline and resource planning.
Support business growth initiatives by continuously enhancing Finance-led initiatives around business performance measurement.
Provide key financial/business performance insights to senior Finance leadership as well as Corporate FP&A.
Support key artifacts that include but not limited to, forecast and LRP executive analyses, Monthly Financial Reviews, Earnings, Board reporting and Investor Relations presentations
Perform other ad-hoc business reporting and analysis as needed.
