The Senior Director, Product Management is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for defining and executing the strategic vision and roadmap for the Battle.net Developer Experience portfolio, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and studio partner needs. You will drive the platform's capabilities with a focus on the secure and seamless integration of gaming titles to the Battle.net platform.

Reporting directly to the VP, Product Management, you'll lead a team of Director-level Product Managers responsible for the efficiency, scale, and stability of our integration systems while delivering epic experiences to our community of players.

This position is anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some work-from home. The potential home studio for this role is Irvine, CA.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Developer Experience product portfolio and lead the Directors of Product Management.

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, security, and scalability.

  • Build relationships with cross-functional studio partners to facilitate clear communication on progress and priorities.

  • Continuously work with studio partners, and internal product and engineering teams to identify, translate, assess, and prioritize feature requests.

  • Be an active member of a leadership team committed to mentorship and the success of others.

  • Apply best practices in project management, including scaled Agile methodologies (e.g., SaFe, Scrum of Scrums).

  • Manage prioritization using frameworks like RICE or MoSCoW.

  • Possess a deep technical understanding of API policies, SDK design, platform architecture, and cloud technologies.

  • Have direct software development experience and comprehension of high-level architecture concepts in modern development.

  • Partner and collaborate with the Senior Director, Engineering to align on the product and technical plan.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $164,800.00 - $304,800.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this role’s range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
