Position Overview:

Are you a tech-savvy student with a passion for Software Development? Blue Yonder is seeking a Software Engineering Intern with strong technical skills to join our dynamic team in Karlsruhe. As an engineering-focused intern, you will play a pivotal role in helping the whole company to scale up. In our unit, we work on an intelligent solution that helps to automate the software delivery process for our product development teams. Utilizing Python, Java, and TypeScript, our team focuses on practical, results-driven development. Our goal is to simplify complex processes for users, from workflow organization to deployment efficiency, to make their operations smoother and more effective. We pride ourselves in working on a product that is continuously improving by using its own features.

What you will do:

• Experience a culture that is built on collaboration, respect and having fun solving challenges.

• Learn from experienced team members and contribute features and bug fixes from day one!

• Create matching test cases to ensure product quality and reliability.

• Participate in code and design reviews to enhance your skills and contribute to the team's success.

• Learn the craft of software engineering in an open-source compatible environment.

• Evaluate new approaches and technologies and put them into practice.

• Develop a deep understanding of what it means to successfully run a service in production and experience that good CI/CD practices do make a difference.

What we are looking for:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in a STEM field.

• You love to program and solve problems.

• Working knowledge of Python, Java or TypeScript.

• Familiarity with containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience with CI/CD workflows using GitHub actions or Jenkins.

• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
