Job Description

The Game Artist will be responsible for creating all game-related visuals, including in-game art, UI, and marketing materials. This role requires a strong understanding of project requirements, the ability to follow multi-step procedures, and the creation of player-centered UI assets. Collaboration with other artists and developers is key to optimizing art pipelines and ensuring visual consistency. The ideal candidate will possess excellent drawing, illustration, and conceptualization skills, a keen eye for design and market trends, and proficiency in relevant software (Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma). Experience with AI art tools is mandatory. The role demands an ability to adapt to different art styles, analyze feedback, and consistently deliver high-quality, optimized assets.

  • Familiarity with animation tools (After Effects, Spine)
  • Experience with Unity or other game engines
Must Have:
  • 3-4 years visual industry experience (mobile gaming preferred)
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma

  • Strong color theory, composition, visual storytelling skills

Description

  • Work on all art game related visuals, including in-game art, UI and marketing materials.
  • Understand project requirements and ideas and can take direction and follow through with multi-step project steps/procedures consistently.
  • Develop visual concepts and mood boards to support the creative direction of the game.
  • Create player-centered, intuitive, and aesthetically pleasing UI assets.
  • Work closely with game artists, developers, and marketing artists to optimize art pipelines and ensure consistency across all visual assets.
  • Actively contribute to creative discussions surrounding feature reviews and new features.
  • Analyze feedback and use critical thinking to evaluate data and adjust the art accordingly.
  • Stay updated on market trends, tools, and technologies, integrating fresh ideas into your work.
  • Ensure all assets meet the highest quality standards, are optimized for performance, and align with the game’s artistic vision.

Requirements

  • 3–4 years of experience in the visual industry, preferably in mobile gaming.
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma is a plus.
  • Knowledge of screen layout guidelines, wireframing, and mockup creation.
  • Strong sense of color theory, composition, and visual storytelling.
  • Ability to adapt to diverse art styles, including stylized and realistic.
  • Excellent drawing, illustration, and conceptualization skills.
  • Strong artistic and design eye to achieve a high-quality art and UI, following or taking into consideration market trends.
  • Experience with AI-generated art tools to create consistent and innovative visual content is a must.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Basic experience with 3D tools like Maya or Blender is a plus.
  • Familiarity with animation tools (e.g., After Effects, Spine) is a plus.
  • Experience with Unity or other game engines is a plus.
