challenge the status quo and drive significant change. The ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and trends is essential, as is a strong passion for visual storytelling and video production. This individual should be highly creative, detail-oriented, and possess
outstanding communication and leadership skills.
- Strategic Content Planning and Execution: Develop and implement a robust content strategy that aligns with organizational goals and resonates with target audiences. This includes identifying key themes, planning content calendars, and optimizing content distribution.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Cultivate seamless collaboration with diverse teams, including marketing, executive, brand, product, and sellers engagement teams, to integrate captivating storytelling into all content initiatives. This ensures a cohesive and unified brand narrative.
- Content Creation and Management: Lead all aspects of the entire content lifecycle, from conceptualization and creation to editing, proofreading, and publication. Develop a team of content creators andensure the delivery of high-quality outputs.
- Brand Consistency and Editorial Standards: Establish and implement detailed editorial standards to maintain, including developing style guides, and conducting regular content audits.
- Multimedia and Video Production: Champion the use of visual and video content to improve engagement and storytelling. Provide direction and support to video production teams and ensure the creation of high-impact visual assets.
- Social Media Content and Strategy: Develop and implement social media content and strategies that improve reach and engagement. Monitor social media trends, analyze performance metrics, and adapt strategies as needed.
Proven experience in editorial leadership, preferably within a global organization.
Strong background in content creation across multiple formats, including writing, video, multimedia, and social media.
Proven ability to lead and inspire creative teams.
Experience leveraging technology and AI in content development and storytelling.
Passion for storytelling and a deep understanding of eBay's mission and values.
The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:
$123,600 - $198,100Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
