Role Description

The Head of Finance is responsible for building, overseeing, and scaling Streamline's financial operations globally. This role involves managing financial planning, compliance, and strategic initiatives while optimizing processes through automation and Microsoft Dynamics Business Central. The Head of Finance will partner with executive leadership to provide data-driven financial insights and recommendations to achieve long-term company goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support company objectives.
• Manage the Finance and Accounting team to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
• Oversee cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Implement and optimize Microsoft Dynamics Business Central for financial management.
• Automate financial processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
• Ensure compliance with international and local financial regulations, tax laws, and company policies.
• Conduct cost analysis and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
• Act as a strategic partner to leadership by delivering financial forecasts, reports, and KPIs.
• Review and approve procurement requests to ensure efficient resource allocation.
• Collaborate with HR to ensure payroll accuracy, compliance, and optimization.
• Lead vendor negotiations to secure competitive pricing and favorable financial terms.
• Maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, auditors, and external partners.
• Oversee and improve internal financial controls and processes.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the Finance team, fostering professional growth.
• Monitor financial risks and recommend solutions to mitigate them.

Performance Metrics

The Head of Finance will be evaluated based on the following key metrics:

1. Accuracy of Financial Reporting : Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual reports accurately and on time.
2. Process Optimization : Identify and reduce manual processes through automation.
3. Cash Flow Management : Maintain cash flow and expenditure within of projection.
4. Compliance and Audit Results : Ensure that global financial operations remain fully compliant.
5. Budget Forecast Accuracy : Maintain accuracy of budget forecasts.
6. Vendor and Cost Management : Annual analyze, identify new vendors and negotiate with existing vendors to ensure costs are managed.
7. Team Development : Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance team. Ensure team members meet or exceed their performance targets through clear goal-setting, guidance, and continuous support.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central for financial management.
• Experience in automating financial processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing global Finance teams.
• Expert-level knowledge of financial reporting , forecasting , and cash flow management.
• Familiarity with international tax laws and compliance.
• Proficiency in Excel (macros, pivot tables, formulas) for financial analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
• Effective communication skills to convey complex financial concepts to stakeholders.
• Experience working with ERP systems, internal controls, and audit processes.
