The Transport Analyst will oversee regulatory matters impacting the transport and mobility sector in Indonesia and Southeast Asia, ensuring GoTo's business and expansion are protected from regulatory challenges. Responsibilities include relationship building with government officials and stakeholders, developing public policy plans, internal coordination, project leadership on transport technology initiatives, and networking to forge strategic alliances. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in a relevant field and strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Experience in public policy, government relations or related sector
- Independent project management capabilities

About The Role
The individual will oversee regulatory matters impacting the transport and mobility sector, ensuring the business and its expansion are protected from government oversight and regulatory challenges.
What You Will Do
- Relationship Building: Support manager in establishing and strengthening relationships with government officials, nonprofit groups, and other key institutions across Indonesia and Southeast Asia.
- Policy Development: Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to develop a strategic and actionable public policy plan that aligns with organizational goals.
- Internal Coordination: Work closely with internal teams within GoTo’s group of companies to ensure cohesive strategy execution across various sectors.
- Project Leadership: Support multiple projects in partnership with government institutions, focusing on Transport and Mobility technology.
- Networking and Alliance Building: Cultivate and leverage relationships with a broad network including government, non-government stakeholders, civil society, thought leaders, industry associations, and think tanks to forge strategic alliances.
- Project Management: Support public policy projects that involve cross-functional teams and external stakeholders, ensuring successful outcomes and alignment with broader business objectives.
What This Role Needs
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Politics, International Relations, or Economics from a reputable university; Master’s degree preferred.
- Fresh graduate or one year in an entry level role within public policy and government relations, or in sectors such as law firms, think tanks, civil society organizations, or government.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication skills, and independent project management capabilities.
