We are also supporting the modernisation and development of energy grids, managing the setup and siting for new transmission and distribution networks, and using hydrogen to decarbonise the transport and industry sectors.

 

Job Description

  • Conduct regular safety inspections at the site to ensure compliance with ASR safety regulations and standards.
  • Identifying and assessing potential hazards and risks associated with the Site activities and implementing control measures to mitigate them.
  • Providing safety inductions to all personnel involved in the work to ensure they are aware of safety procedures and protocols.
  • Monitoring and enforcing the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all workers at the site.
  • Report any incidents, near misses, or accidents that occur during the work.
  • Collaborating with the HSE Manager to develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and emergency response plans specific to the work.
  • Conducting safety meetings and toolbox talks to communicate safety information and address safety concerns or issues.
  • Participating in emergency response drills and ensuring that all workers are familiar with emergency procedures.
  • Providing regular safety reports to the HSE Manager, highlighting key safety metrics, trends, and areas for improvement.
  • Project related objectives & targets. HSE KPI’s.
  • Effective project HSE management systems in-place
  • Successful project completion. Deliverables.
  • Documentation submitted on time to HSE Manager

NOTE:

  • Salary range: SAR 10000 to 13000 max as a gross salary
  • When on-site, accommodation, transportation, and food will be provided 
  • Site Location is 340km away from Dammam / 260km from Al Hofuf.
  • Time in Office / Site:     on average 50/50, 20/80 (month with major O&M activities)

Qualifications

  • A degree in science / Engineering /a degree in Environmental/OHS or Equivalent or    Secondary Education.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience within Oil & Gas, or EPC’s, construction or Operation and Maintenance (O&M)/project, as Safety Officer / Safety Engineer / HSE Coordinator / HSE Officer / HSE Engineer / HSE Supervisor.
  •  
  • Site-specific hazard identification and risk assessment skills.
  • Knowledge of construction or industrial site safety protocols.
  • Understanding of site-specific safety regulations and requirements.
  • Ability to supervise O&M site activities, inspections and audits effectively.
  • Experience in implementing safety measures tailored to the site environment.
  • Communication skills to engage with site personnel and address safety concerns.
  • Emergency response planning, drill and coordination for on-site incidents.
  • Familiarity with equipment and machinery safety procedures on the site.
  • Collaboration with HSE and Project Managers and subcontractors’ workers to ensure safety compliance.
  • Adaptability to address site-specific safety challenges and risks.
  • Experience working with ISO 45001-OSHM management systems.
  • Off-road/desert driving skills and journey management (preferred).
