Team and Role overview

Nasdaq is seeking a Software Developer to join our Limits & Compliance Engineering team in Paris focusing on developing our Capital Market Solutions platform Calypso. Your role involves the design and the development of new features for our Calypso product as well as its maintenance for our customers success. You'll collaborate with clients, partners, and internal teams like engineering and product management to enhance the Calypso Application. This position offers a unique opportunity to deepen your knowledge of capital markets in a global, client-focused financial technology environment, surrounded by a team of dynamic problem solvers.

What will you be doing

You will be part of Nasdaq Calypso Limits & Compliance Engineering team working on our Capital Markets Solutions platform Calypso. Calypso provides comprehensive solutions for trading, processing, risk management, and accounting for financial markets. Your main responsibilities will be to design and implement new features of “Limits & Compliance” Calypso module as well as maintaining this module. The challenges the team is facing is to design and develop solutions for the product gaps to fit our customers needs as well as scalability and performance solutions for highest volumes requirements. You will work closely with product support, quality assurance and product management teams.
 

 What you will bring

• 2-3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer/Developer
• Experience in object-oriented programming language (JAVA, C# or equivalent)
• High technical problem-solving skills.
• A passion for software development

It would also be great to have:

• Knowledge of working in Java and Springboot framework for Calypso Backend.
• Knowledge of working in Typescript and Angular framework for the Compliance web UI
• Knowledge of relational database (Oracle or PostgreSQL)

What happens now:
This is a full time position located in Paris. The company allows the flexibility of working half week on site in the office, and half week remote (hybrid remote solution). As the process is ongoing, please submit your application in English as soon as possible.
