About the role
We’re looking for a Junior ADR Engineering Manager with strong technical expertise in audio engineering and proven leadership skills to oversee the ADR post-production process for anime dubbing. You will ensure our recording studios are fully staffed, technically supported, and meet production deadlines. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Audio, you will lead and mentor ADR engineers, troubleshoot studio issues, and collaborate with key production stakeholders.
- You will ensure all studios have full engineering coverage across all shifts
- You will provide technical support and troubleshooting for recording studios to maintain seamless operations
- You will mentor and develop ADR engineers, fostering both technical growth and career development
- You will collaborate with the Senior Audio Manager and key production staff to optimize studio workflows
- You will maintain strict discretion with sensitive content and proprietary material
This is an onsite position at our Coppell, TX office.
About You
We get excited about candidates, like you, because...
- You have 5+ years of experience in audio post-production, ADR recording, or sound engineering, including 2+ years supervising ADR engineering teams
- You have hands-on expertise in studio operations, recording software, and troubleshooting audio equipment
- You have experience managing or mentoring ADR engineers or studio staff, supporting both their technical growth and career development
- You have the ability to coordinate schedules and resources across multiple studios and shifts
- You have experience working with producers, directors, mixers, and post-production teams
- You have proficiency with Pro Tools, Source Connect, Jira, and Microsoft Word
- You have a strong understanding of dubbing and the ADR process
- You are available to work onsite five days a week
About the Team
The ADR team is the technical audio arm helping bring to life the English dialogue for episodic and feature content. We work closely with directors, voice actors in the recording rooms daily, recording each voice actor to professional standards to help produce English dubs our fans will love.
