As a Key Account Manager in Personal Health, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic account plans for complex strategic accounts, primarily within pharmacy and specialty retailers. This includes cultivating and maintaining senior-level relationships with customer stakeholders, leading the development of innovative solutions, conducting market intelligence, and spearheading the execution of commercial strategies. You will also participate in customer negotiations, deliver presentations, and monitor sales performance. The role focuses on driving sales growth, profitability, and customer loyalty, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and contributing to the overall health and well-being of consumers worldwide.
Must have:
  • Degree in Commerce, Business, or Marketing
  • Experience in Pharmacy, specialty consumer, FMCG, or healthcare
  • Proven experience in sales forecasting and strategy development
  • Expertise in market research and data analysis
  • Strong background in account management and CRM systems

Your Role:

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Key Account Manager – Pharmacy to join our Personal Health team based in Melbourne. As the Key Account Manager, you are responsible for developing and executing strategic account plans for complex strategic accounts across pharmacy and specialty retailers while driving significant sales growth, profitability and customer loyalty.

You are responsible to:

  • Cultivate, maintain and improve senior-level relationships with customer stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring alignment with their strategic objectives to foster mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Lead the development and implementation of innovative, bespoke solutions for customers, coordinating with global and local cross-functional teams to meet diverse and complex needs, enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct in-depth market intelligence and competitive analysis, identifying macro trends, opportunities, and risks to inform high-level strategic planning and decision-making for business growth.
  • Spearhead the formulation and execution of advanced, multi-year commercial strategies, including high-impact distribution and promotional activities that drive market leadership and sales excellence.
  • Participate in critical, high-value customer negotiations, securing strategic agreements that drive mutual value creation and align with long-term business goals for sustained growth.
  • Deliver compelling presentations to senior level audiences, articulating complex value propositions and solutions driving customer buy-in.
  • Monitors, evaluates, and continuously improves sales performance metrics, leveraging data-driven insights to optimize customer engagement, satisfaction, and overall business outcomes.
  • Lead transformational improvement projects that enhance operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and overall business performance.

You're the right fit if:

  • Ideally you will hold a completed degree (Commerce / Business / Marketing) and come with experience in a similar brand or role from either Pharmacy, specialty consumer, FMCG or healthcare domain.
  • Proven experience in driving business growth through strategic sales forecasting, developing proposals, and implementing effective sales strategies.
  • Expertise in conducting market research, analysing data, and utilizing commercial insights to inform strategic business decisions.
  • Strong background in managing accounts and customer relationships, employing CRM systems, and developing tailored strategies to enhance client satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated ability in monitoring KPIs, engaging in continuous improvement initiatives, and managing stakeholder relationships to achieve optimal business outcomes.
