Unlock the secrets to a successful job application and accelerate your journey to your next opportunity.
REGENT is building the seaglider; the first electric flying machine that will transport commercial passengers.  With a vehicle that never flies higher than a few meters off the water, we unlock the ability to fly twice as far as an electric aircraft, and certification by maritime authorities which will let us fly first passengers by mid-decade.

We are actively hiring passionate interns who can help us get our vehicle to market as quickly and safely as possible. We are backed by the world’s best investors: the same investors who are behind SpaceX, Palantir, Boom Supersonic, and more. We have over $9B in provisional orders from some of the industry’s largest operators and are hitting the ground running.

As a Manufacturing Engineering Intern at REGENT, you will have the opportunity to leverage your knowledge, experience, and creativity to develop a new wing-in-ground-effect vehicle at the intersection of the latest marine and aerospace technology. You will work on hardware that will carry passengers and cargo swiftly across coastal regions, unlock a new form of cost-effective mobility, and launch the next generation of sustainable transportation. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and quality, to drive continuous improvement and innovation in manufacturing. You will contribute to the design and development of vehicle components, manufacturing processes, and test procedures and take a key role in enabling the delivery of the seaglider to market.

Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Support the development of new and existing manufacturing processes to support vehicle assembly and test
    • Research, develop, and deploy new manufacturing technologies to achieve rate, quality, and efficiency requirements
    • Collaborate with design teams to drive design for manufacturing improvements for components and assemblies
    • Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process specifications, and standard operating procedures

Required Qualifications and Skills:

    • Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in an engineering, physics or math discipline by the start of employment
    • 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, laboratory, and personal/team project experience is applicable)
Working at REGENT, you’ll be in a fast-paced environment with exciting new challenges daily. Your mentors are passionate about building zero-emission, high-speed seagliders that will revolutionize coastal transportation. Our team works collaboratively and across disciplines to safely marry the latest technologies from aviation, aerospace and nautical engineering.

Our Benefits include:
· Free lunch catered daily
· Office amenities including snacks, drinks, coffee & espresso bar
· Dog-friendly office
· Flexible hours
· Company-sponsored recreational events
