Scopely is looking for a Marketing Brand Manager to join our Star Trek Fleet Command team in Shanghai.

Star Trek Fleet Command's ongoing success goes from strength to strength. Our in-house developed 4X MMO was launched in 2018 and continues to evolve, being consistently one of the top 10 gross revenue Massive Multiplayer Strategy games on the market.

 

What You Will Do 
This role will lead the planning, development of customer acquisition marketing strategies for STFC China version to drive profitable growth in the China market. In coordination and collaboration with our partner in China, you will own local acquisition performance while leading strategic experimentation on all key current and potential user acquisition channels.

 

  • Own a comprehensive understanding of the business environment of China market for Marketing Strategies, Brand Marketing Campaigns, and various mobile game-related growth marketing programs to achieve the target growth of the game.
  • Discuss, review and confirm strategic, sustained user acquisition campaigns with publisher, driving continued high-quality volume to the game.
  • Bring leading analysis and insight to acquisition funnel measurement, including helping to define & set goals for key performance indicators of the game, and working with Analytics on implementing improved Business Intelligence.
  • Own cross-functional and executive communication & strategy setting on user acquisition plans, working in conjunction with Product, Finance, Creative, Data Science & Engineering.
  • Help shape the development of technical tools designed to enhance and streamline UA operations and analysis
  • Drive and defend the consumer advertising and brand marketing for a Scopely portfolio game.
  • Work internally and with partner & licensor to build and optimize marketing and advertising that drives player awareness, interest and engagement.




What We’re Looking For 
  • 3+ years of experience in user acquisition, performance marketing strategies or brand marketing strategies and campaigns for mobile games
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and optimize marketing and acquisition budgets both large (multi-million) and small (several hundred thousand dollars)
  • A balance of data-driven, analytical skills with demonstrated creative campaign wins
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin. 
  • Strong understanding of fast paced gaming industry and game user trends
  • A high level of integrity, candor, & humility
  • Respect for others and a collaborative spirit
  • Results driven, a desire to win
