Job Description

The Netsuite System Administrator will work closely with business sponsors and end users to support and maintain NetSuite and other financial systems. They will be responsible for configuring, supporting, maintaining, training, and improving the NetSuite platform. The candidate will solve business problems, provide technical guidance, analyze requests, and develop effective solutions. This role requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills. The candidate will be self-motivated and able to provide instruction to different audiences.
Must have:
  • 3-5 years experience in relevant business field
  • 3-5 years of hands-on NetSuite Administration experience
  • Strong understanding of NetSuite best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Creative and analytical thinker
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience working directly with end users
  • Experience supporting a Finance organization
  • Experience working as part of a project team
  • Experience working with vendors and partners
  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline
Good to have:
  • NetSuite Administrator certification
  • NetSuite Development skills
  • Experience with Floqast, Avalara & Coupa
  • Experience with Workato or other low code integration platforms
  • Experience with SQL

About the team

This technically savvy process-oriented individual will work closely with business sponsors and end users to support and maintain NetSuite and other financial systems at Bazaarvoice.  As a system administrator, this person willbe responsible for executing the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, training and improvement of the NetSuite platform and related systems.  The successful candidate will embrace the challenge of solving critical business problems and provide best practice technical guidance.  Under general direction, the candidate will analyze requests for system changes and develop effective solutions that meet the needs of the business. 

 

How you will make an impact

·       Effectively test and deploy solutions individually or as part of a project team 

·       Execute duties in unfamiliar territory 

·       Follow established processes relating to work assignment, communication, development, deployment etc. 

·       execute solutions design activities such as data mapping, object modeling, page layout design and rule logic definition in coordination with the NetSuite Developers 

·       Demonstrate a passion for solving challenges by leveraging technology solutions 

·       Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills 

·       Demonstrate the ability to be self-motivated and show initiative to take on tasks  

·       Demonstrate the ability to provide instruction to audiences of varying technical backgrounds 

 

The must have skills that matter

·       3-5 years experience in a consulting, IT, accounting, or relevant business field

·       3-5 years of hands-on NetSuite Administration experience

·       Strong understanding of NetSuite best practices and functionality

·       Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

·       Creative and analytical thinker

·       Strong problem solving skills

·       Extensive experience working directly with end users as well as Director level & above business sponsors

·       Experience supporting a Finance organization

·       Experience working as part of a project team, with proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritize and handle simultaneous requests

·       Experience working with vendors and partners to configure and develop software solutions

·       Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, MIS, Accounting, or related business discipline

 

Nice to have Skills and Experience

·       NetSuite Administrator certification

·       NetSuite Development skills (Workflow, Javascript, APIs, etc.)

·       Experience with Floqast, Avalara & Coupa

·       Experience with Workato or other low code integration platforms

·       Experience with SQL
