The Partner Engagement Manager, LatAm, at Netflix is responsible for building and maintaining strategic partnerships with mobile, broadband, and TV operators in Latin America. This involves integrating Netflix into operator set-top boxes and payment systems, creating compelling service bundles, and managing long-term relationships with key stakeholders. Responsibilities include exploring new integration opportunities, negotiating product requests, aligning roadmaps with internal and external teams, launching and maintaining products, ensuring partnership performance, and representing Netflix at high-level meetings. The role requires strong product acumen, cross-functional collaboration, and fluency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. International travel is required.

The Partner Engagement team builds strategic, holistic, and long-term partnerships with mobile, broadband, and TV operators to make it easy to access, enjoy, and pay for Netflix. The Partner Engagement Manager will be responsible for leading the integration of Netflix into the operator set-top box and payment systems, creating a compelling bundle of complementary services. The Partner Engagement Manager will understand the needs of our operator partners and build products that will spark joy in current and future Netflix members.

Key Responsibilities

Building and Maintaining Sustainable Partnerships:
Collaborate with internal teams to explore new device and payment integration opportunities.
Build and maintain meaningful relationships with both new and existing partners.
Manage long-term strategic relationships with key stakeholders to align on roadmaps.
Represent Netflix at high-level meetings, providing updates and insights on partnerships.
Monitor and ensure the performance of partnerships aligns with forecasts.

Program Management:
Work cross-functionally with various departments to launch and maintain products and partnerships.
Align plans and roadmaps with internal and external teams, ensuring project quality.
Provide proactive post-launch support and manage risks to avoid delays or reputational damage.
Develop and adapt best practices for global product scaling.

Product Management:
Lead and execute roadmaps for payments, devices, and products to achieve Netflix's objectives.
Negotiate partner product requests and understand global industry trends.
Communicate Netflix principles in product negotiations and represent partner perspectives.
Collaborate with product teams to prioritize initiatives and drive global product initiatives.
Test and experiment with partners to evolve joint products and validate assumptions.

Skills and qualifications:


Fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese
10+ years experience integrating technology products with mobile operators, app stores
Experience in working in payments, partner channel acquisition and product experiences (especially in subscription-based business models), mobile apps, mobile payments, wallets, prepaid plans, direct carrier billing
Proven track record of having negotiated and implemented high-value decisions with partners and have an excellent ability to work with product, engineering, business development and other cross-functional teams (e.g. legal, finance, etc.)
Proven ability to prioritize key opportunities and make the right tradeoffs for customers, Netflix, and partners.
Strong product acumen that balances strategic and tactical needs
Strong collaborator with experience working with local, regional, and global teams
Capable of translating complex technical products and features into intuitive concepts
Experience managing subscription services and payments is a plus
Bachelor's degree, MBA is a plus
The role is based in São Paulo. Willingness for international travel is a must.
